Good Morning 2nd District,

I want to convey to you my plans for the 2nd District.  I have surveyed the various areas in Chicago and the South Suburbs and here are my plans for these areas hardest hit from sheer neglect.

I will file bills instituting a WPA style jobs program to rebuild the south east side of the district rehabbing streets, sewer systems and training for a multitude of skills that will be needed as I have the belief that we must now prepare for the returning of industry to the district.  The long term unemployed must be up to par as my aim is to convince American companies that you must come home and setup shop back in America.  There are several methods that this can be accomplished.

• Through tariffs on the products shipped back to this country that would be so onerous that the message would ring out loud and clear, "BRING THE JOBS BACK HOME , QUICK, FAST & IN A HURRY!"
• By changes in the tax code on businesses since most are headquartered here but the factories are off shore we would tax them where the make the goods.
• Forcing the companies to bring the money back home from off shore account out of the reach of the IRS, the IRS would be given the tools by laws passed to go and confiscate these untaxed profits.

We must have a change to get back to the normal that was before this allowing over 57,000 manufacturers to be allowed by this government to simply pick up and leave and go to other countries some with financial assistance from the U.S. Tax Dollars to pack up and abandon our citizens with no where to work.

From the moment I take the oath of office, I will tirelessly begin the task on righting this district.

The Top 1% in this country that have reaped untold fortunes through Congress' before because of laws rewritten to their advantage must now realize changes in the law will be made starting with this congressman filing bills to undo what you have used to game the system to the detriment of out citizens and nation as a whole. You may call me names but the constituents of the 2nd Congressional District will know they have a Champion and I will fight for what is right as we must have jobs, grants to offset the crushing burden for borrowing ONLY to go to college. We as a nation must take the burden to properly educate each child and young person and they truly are our future.

"PREMEDITATED IGNORANCE" WILL NOT BE TOLERATED BY ME AS YOUR CONGRESSMAN. I will put teeth in NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND. Our children from the parents on up must understand and "SEE" the whole picture of where do you want your child to end up. What profession do you have planned for your child and how do you get them there.  Most don't have a clue.  I want that spelled out from the beginning.  There will be planning paths with specified routes that will empower the parents and teachers to follow to get a child with the dream, aspiration or talent to "REACH TO ACHIEVE" to become what it is they want to be in life.  This program can only work if the government finally make it plain what industries are needed and this will be a great guide as a nation the direction we are going in.

I plan from day 1 that discrimination in areas of Education, Employment and Contracts based on race, color, creed, national origin, gender, religion or disability will NOT be tolerated in the least.  I and my office will fight with vigor against this type of evil that has traditionally been used to halt the progress of Americans through no fault of their own and left them with shattered dreams unfulfilled that would have been assets to our district and to the population at large.

The crime of shootings is ungodly.  These are Americans shooting and killing fellow Americans as if they are at target practice or on the battle field at war.  I believe because of idle minds having no hope because of no jobs no industries to look towards to one day aspire to work at is the major culprit in our district and nation. This is coupled with the U.S. Supreme Court's rulings that the 2nd Amendment anyone having the right to bear arms added fuel to this fire.  That is why I will propose in a bill to end the sale of cheap ammunition. Guns are only one of the parts used to kill people. The bullet is the final mechanism that makes a victim to become injured or is fatally wounded i.e., killed.  I take this view very seriously.  

We must get a handle on the sale of the cheap ammunition and institute the "Barney Fife Rule" where in the TV sitcom the character Deputy Barney Fife lived in a town called Mayberry. Yes the town had little to no crime, but the point is life was valued. Deputy Fife carried a side arm in a holster. But it was unloaded. And when he was in danger he reached in his pocket to get the one (1) bullet he was allowed to carry with him at any one time.

My point is I know the times which we live in have changed drastically and police and citizens are now been allowed to become 'armed to the teeth'.  And I am not naive here.  No one thinks we should not have the right to bear arms for the purpose of simple protection because we should. We now see and recognize a gross out of control problem and senseless loss of life.  We are already have gun givebacks in cities across this nation but it is woefully slow.  We must speed up this process and include ammunition coupled with the sale of cheap ammunition.  

This is a start.  We must try something and if that does not work we must try something else but we are going to keep trying till we succeed.

So we have a lot of work before us because of enduring decades of purposeful neglect, depravity and decay... but there is a new breed of man running to turn this situation into a positive.

We can and We will succeed as one district doing this together.  Other districts will replicate our model and we will have started a revolution of positive "We can and We will!"

We may not all agree but we must start to rebuild and leave the negative past behind and launch now out into the deep waters where the big fish swim and together come back home with nets full and overflowing to the breaking point.  This bounty must be spread for all to reap if we all work together.

Stand with me now.  I am ready and qualified to serve you as your next congressman.

Good Morning 2nd District,

I am the ONLY hope for true change for our beleaguered district. The established party (Chicago Democrat Machine) will soon "slate" (pick their candidate) to run and that candidate will get all the support from the 5 ward committeemen involved in the city ward map for this district.

All of the current candidates other than myself being an independent are vying for the attention of Joe Barrios, Cook County Democratic President.

It will be business as usual. It is just that simple.

This is it folks. The Nov. 6th, 2012 Election was wasted but this next election is for "all the marbles".

Our only hope is my candidacy for the masses of the people even those that will cast there vote blindly for a slated candidate. They still get nothing only "another personality."

I am here to bring substance to the debate and when I am elected bring the bacon home that you have never thought was available because it was all going to the Machine.

We cannot allow the Chicago Machine once again control this district. It doesn't matter who they put forward as their candidate, that person will ONLY do the bidding of the Machine and for the sole benefit of the Machine.!

Look at the last election just passed, JJJ plea bargained for months before but said nothing.

No apology at all from no one.

No more of this blatant disrespect. Help me help you to help others and get the resources we must have. We are going to get it ourselves.

I am going to run in April 2013 to stop the trickery and give you the representation you deserve. I ran because I am fed up with the lies, the outright deceit and the crookedness we have put up with for decades. Go with me to independent side as I will caucus with the Democrats in Congress and really represent our needs to rebuild this district to be a self-sustaining district.

I should be Marcus Lewis Congressman-Elect right now had the 181,000 plus voters for Jackson had realized he was just pulling their chain and revealed he was plea bargaining before the election. The Democratic party bosses knew. The Jackson Family knew. The masses of the people did not know but I was on the ballot cause I knew Jackson did not deserve to return to congress as he was mentally unable.

In April of 2013, Special Election, vote for a change in reps. "FLEE WHEN YOU SEE THE D!". Vote InDependent, Vote for Marcus Lewis!

38,733 started it off, now let's finish the mission for a new beginning.

I'll be running in the Special Election on April 9th, 2013. I intend to win.

JJJ is plea bargaining, a deal has been struck and he will step-down and go to jail.

I was right. I told you the truth.

I am worthy & ready to be the next congressman of the 2nd District.

I am an honest man ready to give remedies for what ails our community.

A Shame Before God and Man.

I was the Independent Candidate in this race and I KNOW for a fact I was better the Jesse Jackson Jr.!

It was this media that never gave me (the "unknown") coverage to introduce me properly to the public from the very beginning. I should be Congressman-Elect this morning!

But the establishment of this corrupt city and state needed to dispose of this race get JJJ re elected in-spite of his eminent indictment plea-bargain for campaign fund misuse.

It's just that simple. The machine was not going to let not one seat go back in the hands of the little people.

You will see in the by and by that we almost pulled off the impossible and you will look back and say we should have and could have voted for Marcus Lewis but didn't because we wanted to keep Mr. Jesse "The Corrupt" Jackson Jr. and he is going to prison and the district lost a true leader that cared for the plight of the people.

I provided a place on the ballot against overwhelming odds and knowing JJJ was going to be indicted soon, the people chose a thief instead of freedom.

I did my part. You all fell for the ol' o-kee-doke. In the coming Special Election on April 9th, 2013 we're going to remedy from being duped again.
